My Fitbit won’t restart. The instructions say to press and hold the side button until the logo comes up. That never happens no matter how long I hold the restart button. It is fully charged.

Is there a reason you are trying to restart it?
If it's important then you could go into the settings app, then About, then Shutdown. This will have much the same effect as a restart. The risk however is that you need to press the button to restart it and I wonder if there is a problem with the button causing the problems with the restart process.

I think that's the issue in my case. I no longer get the haptic vibrate when i touch the screen. It is stuck on Set up Wallet. I can still receive & see text messages but cant reply or do anything else. It then returns to Set up Wallet screen.

If you can't use the screen or button then I think your options are limited. Either let the battery fully drain (which should prompt a restart when recharged), or contact customer support to see if you are eligible for a replacement under warranty

Exact same problem here. Stuck on wallet setup. Will not reset no matter how long I pressed the button. Out of frustration I rapidly pushed and released the button about 10 times and I got back the normal screen and it then started working. Maybe this will help someone.
