Fitbit app crashes when trying to open it

When I try to open the app, it immediately shuts down. I've turned phone off closed app and nothing fixes it. Did anyone know a fix for this?  My app updated last week and this just started.

@Jaquichea it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry for the late response. However, I would like to follow up and help you with the issue that you are experiencing with your Fitbit app since it crashes when you try to open it. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

Please let me know what is the brand and model of your phone. This info will help me to assist you accordingly.
