Fitbit app update caused issues

Yesterday I installed the latest update for the Fitbit app. I woke this morning to my Fitbit versa with a blank screen, when I pressed a button it was saying I needed to set it up (like when new). So I went onto the Fitbit app and set it up. Now ever since doing this my Fitbit will not connect to Bluetooth or pair with my phone and having many other issues. Unsure what to do!!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Swirlychicko. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the details of the issue you're experiencing with syncing your Fitbit Versa after installing the latest update for the Fitbit app. Thank you for your efforts to resolve this. Syncing difficulty is usually caused by a missing requirement and I recommend following the complete troubleshooting steps from this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you for letting me know that your device is syncing to your phone, but you don't get any notifications. Usually a missing requirement is the cause and I recommend confirming the steps to set up notifications in this help article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? Move on to the troubleshooting steps if the issue persists.

If you continue experiencing difficulty, please provide the model of your phone and operating system.

I'll be around.
