Fitbit app will not open on my Samsung S8.

The Fitbit app will not open on my Samsung S8. It just shows the word Fitbit with the icon. Prior to this when it did open and I wanted to look at my bike ride route, the arrow just kept spinning. Now I can't even get that far. Is the Fitbit site down?

The app is working again. I just rebooted my phone and it started working again.
