Fitbit email address was changed by someone else

My email address was changed by someone other than me and now I cannot receive emails from Fitbit so I cannot log in and I cannot change password. I cannot even log in to chat because that requires email and password so I cannot get help. What to do

Hi @Catherinehilton  usually when an email address change is requested, Fitbit sends an email to the address on file to confirm. Check your spam folder to see if you can't find it. There are people who try to take over accounts and it starts just like this. So, get with customer support via other means with one of the following ways. Phone should work well for you.

Thanks! I did call last night and they could not help me. I did find the email in spam folder, but after the big 3 days they gave me to figure it out! When I got through last night, they said they were elevating the request, so I am hoping I get an answer in next couple of days. What is the purpose for someone to try to take over my account I have her email! I don’t get it!
