Fitbit got hot

After wearing yesterday my fit bit got very hot  to touch and will not charge. When on charger It stays hot. Black screen is all I’m getting???

This just happened to my Versa yesterday. All I see is a black screen and the Fitbit is very hot. It will still charge, and the heart rate sensor is still active, but I can not see anything on screen.
