Fitbit installation takes hours

First when I had a new phone (Huawei p20 lite) I found out I couldn't use my fitbit versa with this phone so I didn't use it for the last few month. So sad!

 

Now my boyfriend bought a new phone so I wanted to use his old iPhone (iPhone 7 with the newest ios) to connect my fitbit and finally use it again! I tried to install it but the fitbit needs an update. I followed all the steps, but now the installation has been going for hours and this is the 3th time I try... The app keeps saying installing, and the fitbit screen is 75% blue with the logo in the middle.

 

I don't know what to do anymore, I read a lot about issues with the update but I don't find my answer here. 

 

Please help, I would love to finallyyyyy use my fitbit again!

Hi @Roxannevandijck , try this: put your Versa in the charger and connect it to you Computer. Go to the Fitbit app and to the Wifi settings, press it. You will see you home's netowrk there (if you do not see it, press add network and Fitbit will be adding you network and after that ask you to enter your password of your network). If you see your network's name, right next to it is a WiFi icon in white, press that and Fitbit will start connecting to your network. Once established, the white icon turns to blue and says connected. Now start the update, which is now going via WiFi instead of BT and is far much faster. Good luck and regards kuzibri
