Fit bit isn't syncing with apps on my phone and other apps since update yesterday 6/15/21

This is for my Android Samsung phone....
Have you checked to see if your phone is on the officially supported list?? If it's not, then the latest update may have had a change that will not work with your phone. That's the problem I have about every 3rd update. I can jump through all the suggested troubleshooting tips with no change, my phone still won't sync with the latest version.
So, here's what I do now when mine quits working after an update....
Jump through all the troubleshooting steps first, sometimes it might help.
If not, first determine what app version is on your phone (Settings/Apps/Fitbit/Version number should show somewhere) Then, uninstall the Fitbit app
Do a Google search for - old fitbit versions
Pick the closest version number to what was on your phone. With any luck, you will find the previous version - that was working for you.. Download it to your phone.
When you are notified the download is complete, click on it. You will have to give permission to run it since it's not coming from the Playstore.
After it installs, start the new app and log in to your account.
If you haven't deleted your Versa, it should still be in your account. If you have, you will have to add it back in. Go through and give the app all the permissions it needs and reset your notifications how you want them to be.
I usually keep automatic updates turned off in Playstore and when I get a notification that there are new updates, I select all except Fitbit and let everything update but that. I will sometimes let a Fitbit update through to see if a newer version is working on my phone yet.....
I just had to do this again when I decided to let Fitbit update this morning with the other updates I had sitting in Playstore...
