This is not an issue to do with a failed update, but more the result of losing my fitbit device. My fitbit versa is currently only on version 32.33.1.3, which is not the latest. There is no notification for a new update in the app. I cannot install apps I want such as Spotify on my watch.

I don't think I understand.  You want to install Spotify on a Versa that is lost?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
