Yes it will be fine.
Fitbit pay is only activated when you press and hold the left button and you virtual card is displayed on the screen. Any other state the card reader will just reject it or throw up an error.
If you want to be certain for peace of mind. Try paying for something with Fitbit pay but don't activate it by long pressing the left button to see what happens.
Best AnswerUnless you are in Australia! Apparently you do not have to press and hold the button there. However, I expect you would still need to put your Fitbit in close proximity to the payment device.

Yes that's correct, I would imagine it still needs to be enabled initially by a pin every 24hrs or if you take the watch off?
Best AnswerIt's strange that it's only Australia that has this set up. It would leave the device vulnerable to skimming.
