Fitbit showing eliptical activity while I'm asleep!

My Versa 2 has started recording eliptical activity while I'm asleep or even watching TV.  What can I do to stop this please?

On phone app, from Today screen,

days of exercise tile > gear icon (top right) > shows auto-recognized exercises; tap Elliptical > turn auto-recognize slider off.

and Elliptical will never be auto-recognized.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
