Fitbit versa 2 is calculating incorrect Steps, calories and distance

My fitbit versa 2 is calculating wrong steps, calories and distance. Have tried contacting the support team,every time I get a response to change something or the other from settings (after which it is still not working),but my point is this was working fine before and I haven't changed anything from the settings so why am I facing this issue.It hasn't been a year since I have bought this and I am facing this issue and there is no one who can respond properly to my concerns!

In order to respond, would need something more specific than "calculating wrong steps, calories and distance."

For instance, are you talking about daily totals, or during a specific workout.  If for a workout, what kind of workout, how measured?

How much off - 5 steps, 5,000 steps?

Like it is showing 2,987 steps for 0.75 km and even if I am not wearing my watch it is still showing some calories burn around 1100 cals,everyday a different cals is displayed.

It is normal and expected to show calories burned when you are not wearing the watch.  Fitbit includes your BMR (basal metabolic rate) calories which you are always burning just to stay alive.  These are credited even when you are not wearing the watch.  Normally the daily total should be the same if you do not wear it at all except when your weight changes.

2987 steps per 0.75 km does seem like too few steps or too long a distance.  But to really analyze, would have to know if you were on treadmill or walking outside - treadmill could affect step count if held hand rail at all, and how you got distance - were you using GPS?  And if not using GPS, maybe your stride length is set inaccurately.

Your reply makes no sense. My Fitbit Versa 2 starts and stops tracking my steps off and on all day long. Doesn't matter how many times I restart the Fitbit, or what I set in my settings.

Why this BMR was not calculated before,this was working as expected before. Now I am also facing issue with the distance I was walking today with versa2 device and a Samsung device as well samsung shows 2.2km distance and in versa 2 distance got stuck at 0.78 km and after that this wasn't changing. I have been trying a lot to contact you people everytime I get these kind of worse excuses, I need a replacement for the device this was working fine before all of a sudden this cannot happen that it will start calculating something or the other. FYI I have always been using GPS for the tracking before also when all the calculations were exact and now also,non changes were made in setting or anything. Hope for a "useful" reply asap!

I wake up to 25000-42000 steps. I deleted all info and readded but it still adds the steps. Today it says I walked 21 miles? 

I haven't had mine fitbit 2 quite 2 yrs.

I'll be honest I've had fitbits before all these new ones.i just received the fitbit versa 2 and I'm so disappointed in it. I never changed no settings just charged it set it up geez if I knew walking to my kitchen would result in 2,000 steps and 12,000 steps just being in my house now something is wrong. Fotbit has not reached out to help.
