Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I bought my versa 2 few days ago, im really surprised in the steps counter of it, its very not accurate, i wear it while sleeping and i wake up with 500 steps

Even when im at the office almost till 5 i leave with more than 10000 step 🤷‍:male_sign:

I tried switching it to dominant hand but still im facing the same issue. Hope to find a solution soon

Thanks.

All wearable devices that are on your arm track how you arm swings, not when your feet move. If you sit in your chair and swing your arm by your side like you were walking, it will count steps. Because of this it will never truly be accurate. If you want an accurate step count, you need to get a pedometer that attaches to your shoe, though you need to be careful with these as well. If you're the type that fidgets and moves your feet while sitting, it will also give you an inaccurate step count.

not all wearable devices count wrong steps if you swing your hand while
sitting i believe because a friend of mine has the apple watch 5 and its
too accurate, i wish i noticed that before buying the fitbit, and my issue
is not only counting wrong steps while sitting on my desk its also when im
sleeping i dont believe that anyone would swing his hand while sleeping 500
times 🤔
