My Fitbit versa suddenly went blank and now all I get is the logo on and off. I have charged and tried switching on and off. I also tried the factory re-set but there is no strong buzz. Is there anything else I can try ?

I was just about to say the same thing about contacting Support. It sounds like there may be something wrong with the Versa.

@Lisa007 I am assuming you're trying to perform factory reset as described below:
You may need to attempt the reset a few times to find the optimal times. Trying holding the buttons longer, as long as it's needed for the vibration to appear.

@Lisa007 I'm curious, what happens when you slide versa into charging dock? Does the logo still flash? Have you tried letting Versa run out of battery entirely, then charging and booting up?

@Lisa007 I think at this point it would be best to contact Customer Support. Good luck!

The current solved message (Jan 2019) is not a solution, Just a moment ago i had this exact problem, normally all you have to do is restart it or factory reset it. But no,
1. Go to your app on your phone/computer
2. Select a new clock face (this will forcibly stop the blinking)
3. If it still hasn't stopped try this other method
1. go to your app on your phone/computer
2. Select a new clock face
3. Go back before the new face has been updated
4. Choose a new face
This will work and if it still doesn't you will need to call up technical support and get a replacement if you are out of warranty

Thank you for sharing what helped resolve your issue. Unfortunately, not all problems are the same.

It happened to my versa as well. It was failing while update is on its progress.. any solution for that?

there's no solution. Just call support and get replacement. I did the same and they sent me an order confirmation for the replacement with the remark "end of life". I wonder if they're discontinuing versa?

Mine is doing the exact same thing, so I need to contact support? My husband has the Blaze and we’ve gone through two. Might just switch to Apple Watch, as I’ve not even had this one a year 😞

Highly unlikely. End of life probably marks your watch for scrap.

I see.. I updated the fw on my defective versa and now it's basically useless, just tells time that's it. They probably pushed a fw update to my watch to render it useless. Well, Versa is my 2nd fitbit after Alta, probably I should consider Apple Watch.

@Amy8 Fitbit cannot push the update to your watch. You need to download it and install it.
