Fitbit versa connecting issues

I’ve just bought my mum a versa for her birthday and it won’t connect to her IPhone 6. I have tried everything - turned the phone off and on, reset the Fitbit, no other Bluetooth devices around us - and it still won’t work. Any help would be appreciated. This is very frustrating

Can you set it up with another device and then just log in to her account with her phone?

Mine will connect with the ipad but it will not connect to the wifi.  Is anyone else having the same issue?
