Fitbit versa lite edition

Cannot figure out how to set the time and date after fitbit died.  Tried forums on the net, they don't jive with my machine.  tired of spending hrs trying to use this thing and ready to get rid of it.

Hi @Gwebena - Your Versa Lite gets the time and date from your phone when you sync. You say your Versa Lite died. Were you able to charge and sync it?

I didn’t charge it and when it came back it had the old date. Then I open
the app thinking that would sync it. And it didn’t. Thank you for getting
back to me

Hello again, @Gwebena . Since you didn’t charge it, I’d recommend doing that first. I have a couple questions to help trouble shoot this issue:

  • Which phone are you trying to sync to? 
  • Is your Fitbit app updated to the latest version?
  • When you open the app, can you see your Versa Lite listed as a device under Account at the top, left of the screen? 
    • If yes, tap it then scroll down to Sync Now. Tap it and let us know what happens.
    • If no, tap Account, And look for it there. If you still do not see it, then you will have to set it up as a new device.

The more details you can provide, the better.
