I just bought my Fitbit last night. I tried it on and took only few steps and then drove to pick up my son. Within the 20 mins on wearing it. It says I burned 1,467 of Calories from taking 204 steps. I felt that was odd. Then we I woke up this morning. It said I burned 600 calories and whitin 206 step. It say I burned 409 more Calories within the 15 mins of behind away. I’m confused here while I’ve been using Calories to monitors my intake. Can someone help me understand it?

Hello @Cameil and welcome to the help forums.  Your Versa Lite gives you you total calories, that is your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) plus your activity calories.  Your Versa Lite gave you credit for you BMR calories for yesterday, even before you were wearing it.  It's a software thing.  Likewise your 600 calories when you woke up are the 600 calories you burned staying alive while you slept.
