Fix it, Return it, or Trash my Versa?

I bought my Versa from Target in Dec 2019 and liked (not loved) it since...until Saturday when I started only getting Basic Sleep Details. Then today my HR was ridiculously high ALL DAY. I've read many posts about people having similar issues with high HR but either didn't get a good resolution from Fitbit customer support or ended up returning it. Since I bought it from Target, I'm not sure if that's even an option. I've tried resetting it, toggling the HR on/off, but nothing worked. The only thing I haven't tried is a factory reset, but that's my last resort before throwing it in the trash.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @MrsHamada and welcome to the Help forums.  When tap on your Sleep tile, then one of the days where you got patterns, there should be a message near the top that explains why you got simplified patterns.  Sometimes it will say your Versa couldn't get a consistent heart rate.  Sometimes, the explanation doesn't seem helpful at all.

Many of us recommend restarting a device 2-3 times in a row to restart it.  Not just once.

I think it will be helpful for you to contact Support for personalized troubleshooting.  You just might need to take some steps in a different order.  Do not do a factory reset unless you are told to do so by a Support tech.

You are past the return period at Target.  But Target is an authorized retailer and your Versa is under warranty.  This is a BIG reason to contact Support.

Do not throw your Versa in the trash.  In my area, it must go to the recycling center because of components that are hazardous waste.

Trash it - I have an issue and instead of just a simple replacement, I have been told nothing but work arounds - I started resetting mine 4 times a day before I gave up.  Basically all the work arounds make it so the watch does NOT work as advertised.  Get a watch from a company that will work with you instead waiting for you to solve their issue.

I've been trying to get my Versa to work and stay synced since I took it out of the box a year ago. Have followed ALL instructions MANY MANY times. Zip. It was a gift but I am thinking about throwing it in the trash or selling it on ebay to some unsuspecting sucker. I think the product is just crap.
