Just got my Versa Lite, and it's taking forever to do the first firmware update-30 minutes, so far. All I see on the watch face is a blue vertical bar and a diamond of circles. What's up?

Hello @Ravensong and welcome to the Help forums. When I started my Versa Lite firmware upgrade, I remember reading a message saying how long the update might take. I remember it taking longer than the message said. This update is done by Bluetooth from your phone. It does take a while.
You will know you are making progress if the blue bar gets wider. The blue bar size represents upgrade progress.

Hi, if the process of updating your Firmware is failing (BTW, it always takes about 45 mins to 1 hour) with an error message, try this guide I wrote regarding updating to the newest Firmware: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa-Versa-Lite/Hassle-free-guide-to-update-your-Versa-s-firmware/t.... good luck!!

Hi, just wait untill the blue bar covers your screen entirely. When this does not happen within half an hour, your probably will reveive an error message sooner or later. If ye, see my guide and try again. Are you using a Third Party Clock Face at this moment, if yes then that's the problem.

You're very welcome, but the update should have been finished by now. As I asked, do you use a Third Party Clock Face? Cause this might be the problem that your Versa is not updating. Some THCF's are not compatible with the new Firmware version. I would advice you to stop the updating process now and try again using my guide. If you encounter problems with that, I will be around for you.
