I cruise frequently and need to stay on ships time. There is no GMT -9. Can you please add that option? I had to set my Versa 2 to GMT -10 and do the math. Not real convenient.

It's great to see you around, @MamaBabakan. @SunsetRunner and @LZeeW, thanks for the input.
I know that it would be great to have more timezone options. I took the liberty and searched for a request like this, but didn't find any. As recommended, you can visit our feature suggestions board and share your ideas with us.
Let me know if you need anything else. 🙂

@MamaBabakan I voted for your Feature Suggestion and left a comment. I made Fitbit aware of this issue about a year and half ago. A user in Adak, Alaska pointed out the problem. There is a section of Alaska that is in same time zone as Hawaii. Alaska follows DST. Hawaii does not. There are people who use GMT-9 for eight months of the year.
This needs to be fixed. It is absurd that a user can be in the US and have the correct time for only four months a year.

@AlejandraFitbit The OP did start a Feature Suggestion . When I say that I brought the issue to Fitbit's attention, I did it through the Community Council channels. This is not a fun, new idea to add. There are US citizens who do not have access to the correct time zone option for eight months out of the year. That is in addition to the users like @MamaBabakan who are just cruising through.

If I knew that the Versa didn’t have access to all time zones I would have looked at other options for a fitness tracker. What is the point of paying $200 for a fitness tracker watch that doesn't keep the correct time regardless of where you are.

@AlejandraFitbit Once again, I want to say that this request is not some of the other requests that come from Feature Suggestions. This is a basic feature. Any user, in any part of the world, should be able to set the correct timezone.
Did the engineers flunk geography class?

The engineers at Fitbit added GMT -9. I think all the time zones are covered now. Thank for your support.

Hello @SFJennings and welcome to the Community. This is an older thread. I think Fitbit fixed this issue by adding an Adak time zone on the app. Does this help you? If it doesn't can you explain your issue?

The engineers added Adak to the time zone list BUT when you select the Adak time zone Fitbit coverts it to UTC. I know because I’m currently on a cruise ship trying to switch my Fitbit to HAT (Adak time zone) and getting nowhere. And before anybody asks, I do not have set time zone automatically selected.

I tried the Pacific/Gambier time zone, which is also UTC-9. Fitbit also converts it to UTC.
