GPS Issue with Versa

Initially had difficulty with New Versa and iphone in Exercise app connecting with the GPS. In "Privacy" in settings I noticed the Fitbit button was set to "connect when using app". When I changed it to "Always" the GPS magically connect. Why won't the gps work when in exercise walk mode? Will there be a firmeware up date to change this issue?

Could you please elaborate your issue further? I have having a little bit of difficulty understanding your situation.

I would be happy to. On an iphone, when you go to settings, tap the Privacy button to turn on "Location Services" so the gps will work. Back out of that to the main settings. Thumb down the page to the find "Fitbit" and tap. Inside Fitbit you will see the "Location" tap that and you will see three choices. (1) Never, (2) While Using the App, (3) Always. The gps will only connect to the fitbit if the "Always" is selected. It will not connect if "While Using the App" is selected. I would like for you to consider making the gps connect to the fitbit when the "While Using the App" is selected and not just with "Always". Hope that is clearer.
