Hello, do I need my phone for Versa to track GPS? 

I was hoping to just run with my watch and not my phone?

Yes, but since I updated to latest version it does not connect anymore to my iphoneX.  I need help with connecting even though I have my phone with me.

@SunsetRunner unlike the ionic, which has built-in GPS, the versa does not and to use GPS it must connect to the phone and use its GPS. So, yes, you do need to have your phone with you if you want to use GPS
