GPS issues after latest updates

After one of the latest updates my Versa 2 drops GPS signal constantly while walking or running. When I finish my exercise and it's uploaded to Strava the data is inconsistent. I no longer have elevation recorded. 

 

...planned obsolescence updates now that the Versa 3 came out?
