My gps does not work, it never has, I’ve tried turning it of and back on in the exercise settings, the screen shows “connecting...” but it does not connect

Versa doesn't have a GPS module, it rather connected to your smartphone to make use of it. Are you keeping your smartphone with you?

Thank you, I will try that, I assume the Fitbit app has to be open.
