Getting calls but no message or app notifications

Hi, I have a Versa 2.  All is working well, only I am able to receive calls on it but not notifications of messages or any of my selected apps.

When I'm in notifications on the Fitbit app I'd says: Notification service not running.  A phone restart is required is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker.

I've restarted my phone multiple times but still get only calls.

Android phone

Thanks in advance.

Same here.  I just got my Versa 2 yesterday.  I can get calls, but no texts.  I've done the troubleshooting 5 different times, no change.  And if someone else leaves the canned response that my phone is not compatible I may scream at this point.  I had a Fitbit Inspire and I could get notifications about calls, texts, and emails.  But I pay $150 (on sale) for a nicer watch and I can't get those notifications?  That's absolutely ridiculous.  So if anyone has some real info on how to get these notifications aside from just telling people too bad, so sad, I'd love to hear it too!

I have an S9 phone with versa and it's doing the same thing. I have tried all the troubleshooting possible and nothing is working.

I just got mine to work!  Try this.

Go to your fitbit app > profile > select your device > notifications

Set up everything in there.  All the troubleshooting I was finding only was saying to do this stuff on the watch settings or in phone & bluetooth settings.
