I’ve searched but no luck....

New Versa... I turned on notifications for my google calendar, have all day sync chosen. But am not getting any google calendar notifications on my Versa. Is it possible to get these? Honestly, I bought it because it said it connected to my calendar, and now it’s not doing so...

Are you sure that your calendar events are set to give notifications/reminders? I receive calendar notifications on my Versa for all of my events that have reminders set (this even brings in my reminders that I had set up through my synced Outlook account). I don't think any events in your calendar without reminders would or should show up.

I bought the My Agenda app (cost all of $2.00) and love it.  It can sync with one Google calendar or one Microsoft calendar - you have all of your calendar on your wrist!  I get notifications of events I have set to send reminders - not really sure if they come from my original Google calendar or from My Agenda...

Do you have your calendars set up through an app or are they just on your phone?  Are you using apple or android?  Did you have to do anything special to get this to happen?

Thanks for the post!

In general, notifications have to be enabled on your phone in order for them to be received by the Versa. I have a Google Pixel 2 XL, and I selected to receive Google Calendar notifications on my Versa. It pulls through all notifications in my Google Calendar (including all synced external calendars like Outlook for work) that have reminders set. Events in your calendar that don't have reminders set do not generate a notification on your phone, and will not show up on the Versa.

I have a Google calendar on my iPhone 7 and iPad...My Agenda imported (not sure if that is the correct word) it and now my calendar shows as My Agenda on the Versa.  I still use my Google calendars on iPhone and iPad and enter new events, etc. on those and they - magically - show up in My Agenda.  I receive notifications on the Versa for events that I have set to send notifications but I think those come from the Google calendars, not from My Agenda.  You can try My Agenda free for an hour and then you have to pay the $2.00...

Hi, I have Google Calendar notifications on my Galaxy s* set to on. I have google calendar set as default  notifications on my fitbit app. I have all day sync set on my app. BUT no calendar notifications are received. I get sms, viber, gmail, but no calendar notifications... why ?

Hi @GregR,

Are you making sure that the actual calendar events have reminders set? That is the only additional thing I can think of that might be off from your end. Just having an event on your calendar won't generate a notification on your phone or the Versa. Only events with reminders (app reminders, not email reminders) will pop up on the phone and the Versa! If you have reminders set on your calendar events, then the problem is likely not your fault...

Cheers!

Can you share how you got it to work??  I'm having the exact same problem and I'm stumped.

UPDATE: for anyone else who stumbles upon this, my problem turned out to be that I needed to actually turn notifications on ON THE TRACKER ITSELF.  I have a charge 2 (so sorry I just realized I'm in the wrong forum), and for me I had to press and hold down the button while looking at the clock, and this turned on notifications.

I also got the new update, and had the same problem... I simply uninstalled the agenda app and reloaded it and everything loaded right up!!

I had just posted my frustration over not getting my Google calendar notifications on my versa, then I solved it, finally. I have a third party app called acalendar where I actually do all of my interacting with my calendar. But the Google calendar itself, not acalendar, needed to send notifications to the versa, and it wasnt. What I finally did that solved it was to go into my general Android settings, to apps, to the Google calendar, and there and only there, unblock notifications. Then sync'd the Fitbit app and voila. First time after 2 years owning and using this watch.

Not anymore. They removed Google calendar from there.
