Google or Alexa

A few months ago Google bought Fitbit about the same time Fitbit released the Versa 2 with Alexa which is owned by Amazon. So I wonder what will quickly become of the Versa.  Will it get Google instead? Will it still be a Versa?   Just putting this out there out of curiosity.

Actually @Cybdiver a few months ago Google made an offer to acquire Fitbit. Their are still plenty of regulations to get past, questions to answer before any sale can go through. 

When it comes to Google versus Alexa. As Fitbit users we know as much as you.

There are no regulations to stop this only an impromptu investigation by the DOJ which was started because Google had taken down about 300 of Trumps ads claiming they did not meet criteria. 

It's my understanding that the deal is going through it's just a matter of a few minor hitches and payment of 2.1 billion dollars.   There is no anti-trust case here at least not yet.   Maybe that's why there have not been any updates to correct the one that failed.  Everyone is waiting to see what happens.
