I have been having this issue for the past few days. I have been cycling regularly for the past month or so for workout purposes and the last few times I have been out, I have been having problems with the heart rate monitor. It seems that no matter how much I exert myself while cycling, the heart rate goes no higher than maybe 80-90bpm. By the end of my cycle the average heart rate is always around 85bpm and thus the calorie burn count is also very inaccurate.
When I stop cycling and move around as normal, the heart rate monitor works fine and will always show around 100-110bpm when I'm walking at a decent pace. I thought maybe I hadn't the watch on tight enough but even after tightening it on my cycles it still doesn't seem to be working.
Any ideas what might be the issue here? Thanks!
