Heart Rate Monitor

Hi,

Anyone else having a problem with heart rate monitor today? My resting heart rate is usually 76 or 77. Today it has had me at at peak zone all day and it says I have been active for 338 minutes (I haven't!!!)

Current heart rate is 167bpm (which it isn't).

I have reset the watch, turned off my phone - and now I'm fresh out of ideas!

Thanks,

Susan.

Hi Susan, have you already tried to restart your Versa mutiple times in a row by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons? Sometimes this needs to be done 4 to 5 times before the problem is solved. Good luck!!

I have the exact same issue and I have done the "reset device dance" at least a dozen times. It does not work for me. I use it with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Hey Fitbit! Are you going to fix this or replace my Versa before my warranty period expires?

Same type of issue as well. Told need to wait to software update. Not able to provide a time frame. Told they are aware there is an issue.

Just wonder if it is ALL versa’s or just faulty ones.

Hi, unfortunately I have to mention that I do not have any problems at all with my Versa, so it seems to be limited by Versa's from a certain production line.

This is why I am so frustrated. If was a software issue like they say, I would think ALL versas would have the same problem. They keep saying they know there is an issue but may be fixed in next software update- with no time frame given. Same repeated answers over and over and they will not try replacing. Even after I have sent photos of the problem.

Hi, Sorry that my Versa is not having any problems at all, but what I do know is that Fitbit and iPhones are, to say it neatly, not an happy marriage. Users with an iPhone report more of these kind of problems than Android users and I use an Android device.

That is interesting info. Fitbit hasn’t asked that question. I have an iPhone. Thanks for the info.

Yes, I’m having this same issue today, and my battery is draining more quickly than usual.

My experience, In a couple of days your battery won't charge at all.
