Heart Rate Tracking not working

Hi,

 

I've had my Versa for a year and a half, it recently broke in terms of the battery and they sent me a replacement which I have just managed to register with my phone (had some phone issues before but all fixed now).

 

Now it is all synced etc and working but the heart rate isn't coming up, it's all switched on in the settings etc plus I've tried following all the steps I found on here (e.g. resetting, turning off HR and turning back on between syncs etc) and still isn't working. The green light isn't flashing whilst on my wrist but if I take it off and rub it to clean it, it will flash a little bit but not consistently. I've tried adjusting the strap etc but nothing. 

 

Please tell me how I can fix this? Or will I need to send it off for another replacement?

I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa is not recording your heart rate. Thank you for following some troubleshooting steps before contacting us.

 

If you haven't done it already, you can perform a factory reset to your watch by following the next steps, but keep in mind that your apps, stored data, personal information, credit and debit cards and saved settings will be deleted from the watch:

 

On your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data.
