Heart rate not tracking

I have not been able to get the heart monitor to track. I have reset my fitbit to a factory reset because when I have tried everything  that  I have read in the blog is not working. What is my next step?

Hi @MissLeticia  If you turn the Versa over, is the green light flickering rapidly on the back? Also check in the setting app on the watch that Heart Rate is turned on.

 

Have you restarted the Versa several times? If not, give it a try. And please co,e back here if you continue to have problems.

The same thing is happening to my Versa Lite. I noticed first because my sleep wasn't tracking. But that's because my heart  rate is not being monitored. I've restarted several times and I've done the whole shutdown twice. No flickering lights anymore either!!

I did place a call/ live chat and have a case number now. No heart rate monitor yet after factory reset. Awaiting email back.

I have had nothing but troubles since I got my Fitbit lite 2 weeks ago. My Fitbit lite is not tracking neither my sleep or heart rate. I have tried checking these app settings to see if they were turned on and they are. I have tried resetting the watch several times, still no luck in getting these settings to work. The little green light on the back of the watch does not turn on at all. To top it off the battery only lasts 9 hours before needing to be recharged, 9 hours! I thought the battery was supposed to last longer then that, like 4 days! The clock face is the original one set by the the Fitbit manufacturer. I have turned off all unnecessary apps, notifications and auto sync. I have switched the auto turn on watch face display to manual. I am so frustrated with this watch, I'm about the take it back to the store! I have gone through the manual, the community forums and even Googled these issues and nothing suggested thus far has helped in getting my Fitbit lite to to last longer in battery or to get the heart rate and sleep settings to work.

Hello, I actually had to have a new one sent to me. Fitbit reached out to me after reading my complaint, verified it was valid and a new Fitbit was sent to me. Since then I have not had any problems at all with my new device.

My heart rate stopped working as well. I’ve tried resetting it & have verified all are turned on. This was a gift from my husband for Christmas, so I’m sad it’s no longer tracking my sleep & heart rate. Moderator - if you can help escalate, I would appreciate it.
