Heart rate too high

Hello,

My Versa has been acting up for weeks. It is showing that I have a heart rate of 90-120 with random drops and spikes. When I take my heart rate manually, it’s in the low 60s.

I have attempted a factory reset, repairing it to my phone, and changing the placement/tightness of the strap. I know this was an issue for a lot of Fitbit users but is there another fix I am missing?

Thanks.

Hi, try restarting your Versa 4-5 times in a row by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. If that does not solve your HR Problem, make sure that the back of your watch is clean. If that also doe not help, contact Customer Support, there might be something wrong with the sensor.

@Brittneyneff It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Versa is not tracking your heart rate accurately.

I want to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if your Versa started to track your heart rate properly after following the restart process that shared @SunsetRunner.

If you found his post helpful, please accept it as a solution.

Looking forward to your response! Smiley Happy

Hi @Brittneyneff, I had this same issue last week. Then about 3 days after it started my battery wouldn’t last a couple of hours so now I’m waiting patiently for my replacement.
