Heart rate too high

My versa's heart rate is showing between 144-170 when seated and inactive. I have restarted it, cleaned the sensors as directed, and am still having the same issue. Any suggestions?

Mine is doing the same thing. My app says my heart rate is in the 170’s, I’ve burnt over 2,000 calories, and I’ve been active for 237 minutes. The problem with this is I have fractures in both tibias and can barely walk. I’ve been laying on my couch for the past 3 days with no activity. I’ve tried restarting my watch and it hasn’t helped.

I should also mention, I went to the er because of my legs. While they took my blood pressure and heart rate, my watch said my heart rate was in the 170’s while the er said it was 83.

Try these few steps.

1. Don't always blame the watch and claim it's errorneous, first check and confirm your pulse just to be safe (you can set a timer for 1 minute, place fore and index fingers under your jagula vein and count the beats). These things happen after a particular diet, high body processes etc. The are success stories similar to this where Fitbits have saved people who thought they were physically fit and had no complications. We can never tell what goes on in our bodies even of we are healthy.

2. Now to the watch, try a total hard reset. Go to the watch settings, scroll down to About and then down again to factory reset.

3. Also delete the watch from your account in the app, and delete the app itself.

4. Reinstall the app and log in and go through the steps of adding the watch as a new one. Check the HR again.
