Why does my heart rate only work on my right arm. Why isn't it tracking my heart rate on left arm?

Do you have any tattoos on your left wrist?

My versa 2 heart rate wouldn't work on my left wrist as I have my whole wrist covered in tattoos because I had a Blaze and Ionic that worked fine I didn't realise that the versa wouldn't work on tattoos

After researching I found a "fix" I put a epoxy sticker over the diode and it works fine

Yeah I have tattoos that cover both of my arms/wrists/hands but still only
works on my right wrist which is weird but I will try what you've said too
because I like wearing my watch on my left wrist. Thank you

I have exactly the same issue my versa will work on my right wrist even though like you I have both wrists tattooed but because the tattoos on my right are lighter it will work but like you I prefer to wear it on my left and since I found the sticker fix it works perfectly

You might have to change the sticker everyday as a build up of sweat etc from your wrist will "cloud" it

Until Fitbit sort out the tattoo issue this is the best solution that worked for me
