Some people have bad seals on their watches, but I'm not one of them. I've been able to swim 3 times a week at minimum with no issues. I really like the watch and if you don't need a full smart watch the Charge 3 is an intriguing product.
Best AnswerI received my Fitbit Versa for Christmas so it’s brand new. I wore it in the pool for the first time today and it was dead within a minute. I hadn’t even started swimming yet. So disappointed. It says on the back that it’s WR to 50m.
Best AnswerI got mine for Christmas too, but haven’t tested it in the pool yet cause it’s too cold. I’m afraid to use it in the shower tho......
Best AnswerI’ve just had a really good look at my Versa and noticed that the screen wasn’t attached straight when it was made. 😮 The glass overhangs at the top by 1mm and isn’t sitting flush. No wonder it died after 1 minute in the pool!!
Best AnswerDoesn’t seem very I’m afraid.
Although marketed at 50m water resistance, I really do think this is a bit misleading.
For the occasional quick shower, the Fitbit seems to fair ok, but even a short dip in the pool or even at the beach will cause all sorts of problems.
I’m now on my fourth Versa (first one bought at time of release and three other replacement pebbles) for a number of reasons; sudden death of a versa, another few non functioning button issues, etc.
My current versa is now going haywire after a short time in the pool. Seems as though the bottom left button is being pushed all by itself and rapidly too. I’ll be contacting support once again to get a replacement. Given that I’ve been using Fitbit products since the original Charge- the versa seems a rushed and poorly executed product.
