Hello,
I tried to set up versa 2, but it failed. Both via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth fail many times.
I installed the fitbit app on my smartphone (android 8.0) and connected to versa 2. After that, the fitbit app requested an update for versa 2, but the update repeatedly fails.
Of course, versa 2 and my phone are near the Wi-Fi router (2.4GHz). I also restarted versa 2, but I can't complete the setup. I've also perused the Fitbit FAQ and tried all the workarounds there, but it doesn't solve the problem.
Will the update be completed in a few days with my phone near Versa 2?
Please let me know if there is anything else I should try. Thank you.

Hi @Platycodon, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how you feel about the setup process that your Versa 2 has experienced. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps listed below:
After this, make sure to follow the setup process as instructed in this help article and see if it connects and syncs with your phone properly.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hello,
Thank you for your kind reply.
As for Versa 2, when I checked the fitbit app on my phone this morning, the message was displayed: "Versa 2 has been updated!" Did the update succeed while I was sleeping?
I didn't try the factory reset before I posted here yesterday, because the fitbit Help page said "Note: Don't factory reset your Fitbit device unless directed to by Customer Support." In addition, I received Versa 2 yesterday, so I think my Versa 2 remained as shipped from the factory.
After reading your reply, I was going to try a factory reset this morning, but if the Versa 2 update was really complete, wouldn't it be necessary?
I am worried about whether I can convey nuances since I am not good at English.
Thank you.
