I’ve got my Versa less than 3 weeks ago. It’s working fine but the screen is broken 2 days ago by accident that caused injury as well. I called the Fitbit support and they told me the warranty doesn't cover damage caused by accidents, which totally understandable. But there is no repair store or anywhere I could replace the screen. It’s ridiculous!
Now how can I repair my watch? There should be a process for this kind of situation. What can I do now?

I took my Versa with the broken glass to a Watchmaker. He actually makes parts to fix antique clock and watches to see if he could replace the glass. He could not !!!’

Wow just wow after reading all the comments on the Versa screen. Got my Versa on Nov as a gift and although I ran into few difficulty with setting it with my galaxy phone and thinking this is not such a bad watch ( in the pass I had the Itouch in which work great). My brother on the other hand also got a Versa, and was unable to change the band and the watch is not sitting at a drawer because of the hard time he encounter in switch band, and that alone is scarring me into switching my band on mines and yes its another story.
Now by reading these comments regarding the screen especially when its use while sleeping, and its my main purpose for the watch make me want to now remove it at bed time. The sole purpose of such was to monitor my sleep, however if by sleeping also causes the screen to crack than the entire watch as its seem to state by others not worth the price yet alone the watch.
I'm glad that I still have my Itouch watch safe and still functional with no problem.

My screen cracked after only 3 weeks of having it. Called the place that Walmart goes through for protection plan or whatever and they said they can’t do anything because it’s not part of my plan! Fitbit needs too make their screens more durable and not so easy to break! For a company that big, there is no excuse!

I purchased a Versa direct from Fitbit online and 5 months later the screen cracked, I got off the treadmill checked my info and noticed it cracked. I contacted Fitbit to see if there is a way to repair it and they told me no. The only thing they could offer me was 25% of a new one or 40% off one of the more expensive devices. I’ve purchased FITBIT’s for my family this Christmas (also direct from Fitbit online) so we can do challenges.
Pretty disappointed they don’t offer a repair, which I would have paid for. Perhaps there was a defect in the screen but I’m still completely out of luck. Sad way to treat a pretty loyal customer. Guess I should have gotten an Apple Watch instead

I did not even get that offer. Fitbit claims that Corning glass works (
the glass manufacturer) calls this gorilla glass because it is so strong.
All of the complaints of cracked and broken glass seem to indicate that
this is a misnomer. I have previously asked who would buy a smart phone if
they knew a cracked glass could not be replaced. I think that Fitbit
should have suggest and sell a tempered glass screen protector or strongly
suggest purchasing the extended warranty which
Replaced the Versa with a new Versa . Not only do they not repair but the
do not sell replacement glass so that you can take it to be fixed
privately. I took it to a watch repair shop and there was no glass
substitute for him to use to fix the Versa. As our complaints multiply,
surely this will effect future sales of Versa.

I'm in the same boat as you. I got my Versa Dec 15 2018 and yesterday it fell accidentally and the screen shattered. I called Fitbit and they said it's just not covered. They offered me a 40% off discount to buy a new one. 😒 I got mine for less than what the discount would get me. Why are these things made of glass?! I wasted $155 for a months worth of use.... unreal. Probably going to go back to Misfit...1/3 of the cost, no glass parts. I'm betobe disappointed.

I think a major part of the problem is the design of the Versa. In all the other Fitbit products i have seen or owned, the glass is flat and fits within the frame. In the Versa, the glass protrudes above the frame and i think that is why they break so easily. While this makes the design very attractive - it is a flaw because the glass is not strong enough to withstand a small bump or band!!

I am in a similar situation. I find the whole thing ridiculous. Apple Watch is even offer repairs. It’s no wonder they can’t keep up with the competition at this rate.
UPDATE:
I said the same thing and they said it was not possible. Please let me know if you find a solution, because I do love my Versa.
UPDATE 2:
I absolutely agree with your Statement. I guess next time I will know to purchase an Apple Watch instead.

Its disappointing that I dropped my versa, small crack. No longer works. $200 lost, after purchasing 2 months ago. Lesson learned. Going to switch to Garmin, done with Fitbit. At least offer a repair solution.

I have a screen cover, but the screen cracked on the corner near the frame. I have only had this watch 6 weeks. I had a Blaze for 2 years without a crack.
I don’t expect a new watch, but at least the possiblity to replace it.
I’ve had scratched watch screens years before these ‘smart watches’ and could always replace the glass cover and for far, far less than 25% of the value of the watch. It’s only the glass, not the mechanism behind it!
