I’ve got my Versa less than 3 weeks ago. It’s working fine but the screen is broken 2 days ago by accident that caused injury as well. I called the Fitbit support and they told me the warranty doesn't cover damage caused by accidents, which totally understandable. But there is no repair store or anywhere I could replace the screen. It’s ridiculous!
Now how can I repair my watch? There should be a process for this kind of situation. What can I do now?

How disappointing to read this. It is incredibly easy for the screen to break which appears to be a theme in these threads. Is there a design fault with Versa screens? Terrible it can't be fixed. Never again Versa.

You must be very wealthy. Not being offered a chance to fix the screen after 3 days use unacceptable. All watches capacity to scratch, break and are replaced. I had mine 3 days had a fall and all that shattered was the glass. Why not tell consumers lack of follow up care?
I see people by protecters of the glass right away. If this is an issue it should be given with the product if no win.
Unacceptable! Make the face to be replaced. Simple!!!!!!!

Another one here!! I had my Versa 3 To upgrade from my charge 2 less than a week, bought protectors and a range of straps then I started to use it. Within days The top left corner knocked on the side of the pool as I swam to the end of the lane and despite the screen protector the corner smashed and a crack has run full across the screen. Like the rest of you I have been told it was an accident and is not covered even though it was a daily action and a minor knock that resulted in major damage. Blatantly a poor design for which they should take responsibility. However they don’t. THEN you deal with that you start looking to pay to get your screen fixed to learn you can’t even do that and your brand new Fitbit Versa3 is now a piece of junk. HOW, how do Fitbit think this is an acceptable level of customer care????!!!

I dropped mine not long after buying it and was told that
is was now trash when I corresponded with Fitbit. I put in a plastic bag and put in my desk drawer. Long after i broke it i looked on ebay and found a repair kit for it. I think it was $30-$40. It was easy to install. And I have been wearing it ever since. The only thing that might be an issue is it probably is no longer waterproof.

You searched for a request like this and couldn’t find any? Really? There are hundreds if not thousands of similar posts of people with broken glass on their Fitbit after a seemingly harmless event. There is a problem with the Fitbit Glass. It does not appear to be Gorilla Glass. However if it is Gorilla Glass it is defective. There are far too many complaints of broken glass here for it to be a coincidence. I was hoping when Google bought Fitbit the quality and customer service would improve. That does not appear to be the case. I was saddened when Fitbit bought and destroyed Pebble. Now I know why.

Agreed not a coincidence

Thousands of people have had this same issue. Mine was a couple of years ago. What i was not happy about that they told everyone it was now just a piece of trash when in reality they knew it was prior to selling it , and continue to sell them. Also that there is no way to get it fixed. The whole thing is just wrong. Yet they have been getting away with it for a long time.

So after reading all these posts, AND having had my hubs accidentally swing his arm with the Versa 2 on it against the wall, breaking the screen a couple of months after I got it for him at Christmas, what OTHER, if any, of the Fitbits would you folks recommend as hopefully being more robust? I'm looking to replace and upgrade my own aging but otherwise working fine Charge.
TIA
