I’ve got my Versa less than 3 weeks ago. It’s working fine but the screen is broken 2 days ago by accident that caused injury as well. I called the Fitbit support and they told me the warranty doesn't cover damage caused by accidents, which totally understandable. But there is no repair store or anywhere I could replace the screen. It’s ridiculous!
Now how can I repair my watch? There should be a process for this kind of situation. What can I do now?

A warm welcome to the Community @Versalover.
I am sorry to hear about what happened with your Versa and I know that it would be great to have a Fitbit repair center, your feedback is much appreciated.
I took the liberty and searched for a request like this but didn't find any. Feel free to visit our feature suggestions board and share your ideas.
If you need anything else, let me know.

Thanks Alejandra!
My suggestion to the support team was to send me a new versa, I will return the broken screen one with paying on top for the screen.
It would be win-win! As you will charge me for the screen plus you can return my versa to your manufacture to fix and resale it, while I will get my new versa
how does it sound?

It is so disappointing!
After talking to different people in fitbit, they generously offered me 3 months fitbit coach (not even premium)!!!!
My suggestion for them was paying for the screen and get my fitbit fixed, which was a fair offer. And they didn’t accept it just because there is no policy and no repaire shop and no spare parts..
fitbit basically told me to throw my new device out and use the ridiculous couch program in other device. What????
Is it what you call the best customer service????

Seriously? There is no way to repair or replace the screen? I have been loving my Versa, but over the weekend I was changing out the canvas band for the standard band so I could swim with it, and while I was doing that I fumbled the Versa and it fell flat on its face on the tile. No cracks, but half the display is gone. Everything else seems to work. I can scroll the screen a little to the left to see the whole time 🙄. Alarms still functioning, pedometer working, etc. I just need to have the screen repaired. Are you really telling me that I dropped $200+ on this tech and there is no way to fix it??

Unfortunately yes!
There is no repaire shop, no spare part.
Screen is not scratch or crack proof and accidental damage like scratched screen is not cover by the warranty. There is no way to repair Your device. So you and me are in the same boat.
After lots of back and forth they only generously offered me 3 months basic Fitbit Coach subscription. 😕 I am so disappointed!!

If there are no visible cracks on your screen then why can’t Fitbit replace it? If there was a visible one then I can understand that they won’t since you can see it but you stated there are no cracks. Or I could be wrong.

Luckily the first thing it did was buy a screen protector from amazon made from glass and waterproof. I work in a physical job and the watch can get knocked around abit. It is a shame that fitbit don't offer a repair service even at a cost as many other brands do ie. Apple, samsung ect.

Same here. I bought mine from Best Buy and got their warranty which covers cracks and scratches and pretty much anything and everything. They saved me from so much headache Fitbit was giving me when my first Fitbit died. I also bought me a screen protector and bumper too. But it’s a shame that Fitbit has no way of fixing such a fragile product that should withstand more than what it can. It is a fitness watch so I expect it to be more durable to withstand bumps and drops.

I am so frustrated and shocked that a company such as fitbit do not have the capabilities to repair their own products!
I was given my versa as a birthday gift on the 28th April. Last week, after only wearing it for a month I noticed a crack in the screen, even though it had a screen protector on it. I didn't exercise that day and the only activity I was doing was cooking my dinner, I don't even know HOW the damage occurred. I contacted fitbit to ask how I can organise a replacement screen (which I am more than happy to pay for) to be told it isn't possible. Also, as it is cracked they advise me not to get the watch wet as water may get into the device. Since I purchased this because I'm an avid swimmer it's now almost useless.
34 days I wore the device to now be told I've got no choice but to by a brand new versa if I want to use the functions again. I don't understand how this is allowed? They wouldn't be able to sell a car which you couldn't buy parts for, why is a company such as fitbit releasing technology designed to be used during strenuous activity that is so delicate people are cracking screens just by knocking them and the not being able to repair them?!
I'm amazed, and not in a good way

I can understand your frustration!
We are in the same situation! They should stop selling the product that has fragile screen which easily cracked and they can’t fix it!
Such a shame FitBit!!

The same thing happened to mine. We are dealing with a company that is more interested in selling units than make a customer happy. Most of these corporation create a market by selling or making items that can be easily broken. Then all of a sudden they will charge $99 to fix crack screens.

I tried the same thing. They won't! They don't care about their customers.

OMG! They offered me 25% off a new Fitbit versa. That is nothing for a $200 watch it just blows my mind that they don't care about their customers

If you got it at target you can have it replaced. I read target will take them back Told that to fitbit customer service and they said they are different then target. But isn't it the same watch?

They did the same to me!

After reading peoples posts regarding the cracked sceen on their Versa.
I thought i would share my experience which may i add was very poor. I cracked my screen and to be honest i dont no how it happened.
i contacted fitbit cust. Service and there response was sorry to hear that but we cant help with the repair.
As a long time and returning customer of fit bit i will have to look at another brand that pride themselves on looking after their customers!!

Totally agree with the recurring theme the Fitbit support team is not helpful they are not interested in their customers once they sell you a Fitbit
The responses are robotic
I do love the Fitbit but I will buy an apple next time

i have not cracked mine yet ... but it is just a matter of time
my charge 2 cracked after 8 or 9 months.. but they replaced the watch
the versa is very fragile.. and if i crack the screen and cant get the watch replace or repair.. I will dump FITBIT
They really blew it up with this versa watch.. seems they wanted to have it out fast instead of having a good product.
I wear a screen protector on mine.. but i get worried when i hear someone cracked their screen while having a protector on..
SHAME ON YOU FITBIT
