I’ve got my Versa less than 3 weeks ago. It’s working fine but the screen is broken 2 days ago by accident that caused injury as well. I called the Fitbit support and they told me the warranty doesn't cover damage caused by accidents, which totally understandable. But there is no repair store or anywhere I could replace the screen. It’s ridiculous!
Now how can I repair my watch? There should be a process for this kind of situation. What can I do now?

Iv only had my versa just barley 2 months today I crashed on my bike boke the glass pretty badly... I plan on getting my credit card to warranty it now seeing as there is no support to repair them and I will NOT be buying another one..... To fragile.
Thanks fitbit for making a expensive fragile step counter not a real fitness tracker

My daughter's Versa screen cracked after 5 days. It's obviously poor quality and money down the drain.

It is a bit crazy that Fitbit won't repair their products. One reason local repair shops won't repair Fitbits, they don't have the replacement hardware on hand nor can source it. Same for many other *waterproof wearables* from other companies.
This soundds checky lol, but as a salesman, this is what extended warranties are for, in many cases if they can't repair the product they send you a new one.
If you purchased feon a brick and motor store however, see if they will replace out of good will.

I purchased mine form Amazon. I also purchased a protection plan (3 year) for $20. It covers a cracked screen, water damage and tons more. To me was worth the $20 as I dropped mine on accident and they sent me a brand new one! Be sure to buy an extended warranty when you purchase something to expensive. Especially since they don't give you this type of coverage.

I bought a fitbit versa recently and love it. However, yesterday, I gently bumped it against my countertop while cooking and the screen cracked. I was amazed that such a gentle tap would actually crack the screen. Questionable quality as I have bumped my phone, apple watch etc against such surfaces before and they had nothing but a scratch or scuff at the most. Anyway, I acknowledged my mistake and was hoping to get the screen repaired somehow when I came across this thread. I am absolutely shocked that some many people have posted their concerns and frustrations in the past year (and I am sure there are many more who don’t post on forums) and fitbit has done basically nothing to address this issue? Speaks volumes about the company and their customer care. I bet Amazon/Apple/Google would never do this to their customers. My last fitbit for sure.

Can’t believe there isn’t a replacement for the screen. I have only had mine since Feb 2019 & have been extra careful but accidents do happen. I have enjoyed all the features of my watch but Fitbit has just lost a customer.

I am so upset about my cracked versa. Seems I am not the only one and nothing I can do what a waste of money

I’m in the same boat as you guys new watch I use for step count and swimming then while cooking dinner I’ve somehow knocked it and it’s cracked screen. And for a expensive watch and I can’t fix I’ve just thrown away $300. Fitbit u don’t have my vote how can u not have a repair centre?

My wrist band just busted while I was standing on my driveway playing catch with my son. The watch fell to the ground and screen cracked straight across. Disappointed to read all these posts reporting that FitBit doesn’t repair screens.
I’m going to switch brands I think instead of buying a replacement. My coworkers have apple, garmin, and some other brand. I was really intrigued by the garmin app my coworker showed me. Data looks better, more informative. I assume garmin would make a tougher product.
Fit bit versa was like the fragility if a cell phone on my wrist. Didn’t even get a year out of it. This day in age, corporations that sell throw away products at hundreds of dollars are unacceptably wasteful. Fit bit now goes in the same sad category as black and decker. Built to barely last and no repair options.
Too bad, I was feeling some brand affinity until today.

Exactly! My versa just droped of my wirst from about a meter height and now I have a crack on the screen. The screen is very fragile for a sport watch. They should at least sell their product with a screen protector. Will not recomend FitBit anymore...

I always loved my Fitbits and have owned them all. This is my last one though.

I fell last week and shattered my screen. Heartbreaking. Only 3 months old. Did you ever find a place?

Nope, I had bought mine on Amazon and bought the warranty. It covered the
whole deal and they sent me a new one!
