Hi @Pdawson05 - you can get notifications but not necessarily the whole text if it is long.

 

In the Fitbit App, click your profile photo, device photo, then Notifications, for the main ones, including App notifications a bit lower down.

 

Your watch needs to be syncing with the phone for the notifications to appear on it.

 

Basically anything that pops up in the phone status bar can be made to appear on the watch.
