How do I set up my Versa?

I just got it for Christmas and can’t figure out how to set the face of it from the factory setup.

@Carol65 Is your Versa already set up and linked with your Fitbit account? Does it sync? If yes, you should be able to see it in your Fitbit mobile app. Open the fitbit app, and tap on the picture of Versa. This will open a screen entirely devoted to Versa. You can see Clocks, Apps, and other stuff there. Please tap on Clocks. Now tap on All Clocks. On this page you can see all the clocks for Versa. There are clockfaces designed by Fitbit (top of the page) and by 3rd parties. I recommend trying Fitbit clockfaces first. Tap the one you like and then tap install. This might take a moment depending on the size of the clockface.

Ok. Picked the one I wanted. Clicked install and keeps giving the message “can’t find Versa” and the two are sitting next to each other

@Carol65 That means there's a connection issue. Is your Versa syncing without issues? First, let's try restoring the connection and then you can try installing the clockface:

 

  1. Unpair (remove) Versa from your phone's bluetooth settings
  2. Uninstall the Fitbit mobile app
  3. Reboot your phone and install Fitbit mobile app. Do not pair
  4. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  5. Login to Fitbit mobile app
  6. Grant all permissions and sync.

The trick here is to not pair in phone Bluetooth settings but rather let the Fitbit mobile app do that. Now try installing the clockface again.
