How do I set up my exercise shortcuts? I can't seem to change them.

After you use an Exercise Shortcut, it automatically goes to the front of the list, automatically intelligently self-sorting itself.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I hate it already and only had the device two hours

This is awful. I want the ability to manage this list myself like I could with my previous device. I am strongly considering returning my Versa 3 becasue of this.

I agree.  I asked about this is a similar thread as well.   This feature was available in the Charge 4 and it makes no sense why it's not available on a more advanced device.

The on;y reason I exchanged my Charge 4 for the Versa was because I couldn't see the Charge 4 screen outdoors in sunlight, which is where a tracker is being used quite frequently....

Thanks for the info. My walk exercise is now at the top of my list. That’s nice but it was nice on my versa lite that I could select the shortcuts I wanted. Maybe this could be a future update to the versa3.

I noticed that “Run” is never added to my recent workout list even though I’ve gone for runs a few times with my new versa 3. Is there a reason for this?

5 months later and still no update to such a basic feature. Reminds me when Fitbit released the Aria 2 and render my original Aria Scale useless. I followed this post in hopes this feature would be added to the Fitbit Versa 3 and Sense. Additionally adding a boxing workout shortcut. I guess considering the lack of features rather updated appearances.. it’s clear what Fitbit’s new target is after Googles acquisition. Sooo, considering the price comparison, date, and time and the listed professional dismissive comments by Fitbit’s help and it’s hirees.. that’s not a word lol, but seriously I might as well give deeper into the Apple Eco and buy an Apple Watch Series 5. Farewell my friends.

I'm thinking the same thing. I just haven't switched to an iPhone (and
really don't want too)!

I was hesitant at first, but Apples eco just works. No glitches or extra. I love android too! Just when I need things to work as they should, I don’t want to have to take extra steps just to get it too. Especially if I’ve paid a lot of money for it. I’m going to give Fitbit one more try and buy the Fitbit Sense and see if that works (a work around), if not then I have to throw in the towel and go for something that does for sure. Hopefully Apple builds up there community.

@NamasteMari are you using the manual run recording, not auto detect of run.

@M|Reviews the request hasn't gotten enough activity to gain the attraction of the developers.

However the ability to have all exercises available was added in response to a users request.

I

Personally I'm not thrilled at having all these, I'm never going to do, exercises, but find it adequate that the ones I use do filter to the top.

PLEASE add the ability to edit exercise list. I used this on a regular with my Ionic. Exploring new mediums of exercising should be encouraged not limited by FitBit.

I would like to be able to put them in an order that I use so when I'm ready to start working out I don't have to scroll through a list that's got 15 things I don't use on it! This "IS" a fitness watch, is it not? 🤦🏼‍:female_sign:

Currently, the most recent exercises get moved to the top of the list. The idea is so that the user only has a few names to go through.

If your really interested in letting Fitbit know your thoughts, then please add your vote to the suggestion.

Something changed on last Versa 3 update (~ 11/7/21).   Now, when you tap to open Exercise on the Versa 3 to start your exercise, there are two default Recent Exercises, 'Outdoor Workout' and 'Workout'.   These don't change.  Then you have to scroll down to All Exercises, where fortunately, they are alphabetical and I use it to record 'Bike' workouts.   There doesn't appear to be any updates happing for Recent exercises on the watch.   It's very annoying, but workable for me by luck more than design.   Good thing I am not recording 'Spin Class' or something near the bottom.  Then it would be even more annoying.

I am very surprised there are so many posts, whether it's regarding the watch or the mobile app, about having 'Recent Exercises' actually show recent exercises.  That shouldn't be confusing to interpret.    Maybe if it doesn't work, you should just deprecate the feature attempt until someone figures it out.
