I am swimming in a swim spa... What should my lap distance be set at? I have it set at 25m pool but not sure what is best since there isn't an open swim option. Thanks for your help

It's ok to set it at 25m. I guess so.

I also like to swim in spa. When I was travelling in Korea, I tried there a spa with salt water and it was incredible.

I use a swim spa as well and swim for about 30 mins per session.. The fitbit Inspire 3 tracks swimming very nicely for me at its default settings. I dont think you need to change anything for in-place swimming as long as the tracker is setup to auto detect swim activity. I surf as well, and use the inspire to track "swimming" during surf sessions as well, as there's a lot of paddling strokes involved. I've used the Garmin vivoActive as well, but fitbit versa is much more preferred to me because I don't gave to manually do anything, as it auto detects nicely.

Tracking your swim spa with Versa 2 is actually quite easy. All you need to do is make sure your Versa 2 is connected to your swim spa's tracking system. Once you have that set up, you'll be able to track your swim spa activity and progress. You can also set up custom goals and get reminders when it's time to get back in the pool.

Sorry for bumping into an old conversation. The Versa 2 may not be perfectly suited for tracking swimming in a swim spa, as it's primarily designed for monitoring laps in a traditional pool. At least, my friend from the medical spa (https://rawbeautyaesthetics.com/services/botox-treatment-in-woodland-hills-ca/) said to me about that. However, it should still give you valuable data about your swim sessions.
