How long can data be kept inside Versa?

Hi, I would like to ask how long can my data (step count, heart beat, etc.) can be kept in Versa.

There are some days I forgot to sync Versa with my fitbit app, and I saw that the data for those days I didn't sync are LOST. I saw some sport watches can keep data up to 7 days, hence I can still sync on 7th day and get data for 1st to 6th days that I didn't sync.

The Versa should be able to hold up to 7 days as you suggest. Fitbit say:

  • Most trackers store up to 7 days of detailed minute-by-minute data. If you have a Fitbit Alta™, your minute-to-minute data is stored for up to 5 days. If you wait longer than 7 days (5 days for Alta) before syncing, you may only see the most recent week's detailed data.
  • Summary data (calories, distance, steps, and floors) will be stored for 30 days. If your tracker measures heart rate, summary heart rate data will be stored as well.

I've not heard of this issue before and suggest you contact customer support as they may be able to tell what's happening from the server side. You can get them via: contact.fitbit.com

Out of interest - is the data missing from the app and from the web dashboard at www.fitbit.com ? I'm wondering if the problem is with the data being lost or an error in the app.
