Note: I wasn't sure where to put this so I just put it in the category of what kind of fitbit I wanted (if someone is able to move it to the right area feel free too, or if it is okay here then that is fine too)
I want to get a new fitbit, and give my current one to a friend of mine, and I know there are some really good sales going on right now. I am kinda set back on money at the moment and I am wondering if I should bite the bullet and put it on my credit card or if anyone thinks they will have another sale sometime in the next month and half or so? (I am hoping to buy the Versa 2) Hopefully someone gets back to me soon seeing as it's pretty late and the sale is almost over. Thank you.

Hi @Marslynn17 Fitbit generally has sales a few times a year. Father's Day and Christmas are two that are coming up. Don't forget, retail outlets, such as Costco, Best Buy, Target, Walmart and such will have sales throughout the year, too. It's often hard to know when to buy as there is always something going on in life. You're a good friend to think about giving your current Fitbit to your friend.

@Marslynn17 and future Fitbit owners, if you decide to buy from a retailer other than Fitbit, make sure they are on the list of authorized retailers. Best Buy, Target and Walmart are on the US list. Costco is not. If you choose Amazon, make sure it says, "Ships from and is sold by Amazon" before you hit that buy button. If it doesn't say, "Ships from and is sold by Amazon," then it is a third party retailer.
Authorized retailers honor Fitbit's warranty. Third party retailers do not honor Fitbit's warranty.
