How to fix Versa button stuck issue

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My wife’s versa had a stuck left button.  I did a factory reset and watch was stuck on the select shortcut screen,  Nothing I tried got the versa back to the clock screen.  In many instances Fitbit replaced the hardware if under warranty.  However this versa is 2.5 years old.  I finally found a post where someone soaked the versa in isopropyl alcohol and then loosened up the dirt with a pin.  After soaking it for two hours and pressing the button numerous times the versa started working.  It seems that this is a common problem and give this a try before discarding your versa.

Many thanks indeed for this post, my Fitbit has recently started suffering from the dreaded stuck button syndrome, after a long period of time searching for way to resolve this issue I happened across this response, I will wait until my Fitbit battery  has gone flat and then I will definitely try this method, although I hasten to add that I don’t think I’ll be completely immersing my Fitbit in IPA, just a small amount in a container and then lean the Fitbit on the button side so just the button is immersed.
