How to remove Quick Settings menu

I just got my versa lite to sync with my Galaxy 10e and notice some changes made since I was able to get it working. When I swipe down to get text notification a purple music note & 2 dots show up. If I click on the music note a Quick Settings shows up with 4 options. How do I make this go away so when I check my text messages I don't have this distraction?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post. Let me share with you that at this moment it's not possible to remove the Quick Settings menu that was implemented in the latest firmware update of your device.
