Hi @Sharyla. Welcome! It's great to see a new face around and I'm sorry for the delay.

Thanks for sharing that you have the Versa Lite and let me help you with your question. Let me clarify that you'll only be able to set up one app for the Text Notifications in the Fitbit app, however you can set up the rest of the apps as App Notifications:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on your profile picture.
  2. Tap on the Versa Lite image.
  3. Tap on Notifications.
  4. Tap App Notifications and choose the apps you want notifications from.
  5. Sync your Versa Lite to save the changes.

Please note that you need to receive a notification from that app first, so it can appear in the App Notifications list.

I'll be around, keep me posted.

Morning Lizzy,

I'd like to raise a follow-up issue on the back of your solution... I bought my Versa Lite yesterday and began the set up process. As you correctly mention, whenever I get a notification from the various apps, they subsequently appear on my App Notification list (this has been the case for Snapchat, Messenger, Instagram, Maps, etc.).

However, despite receiving multiple notifications from WhatsApp and iMessage, they do NOT appear on my App Notification list.

I've researched this issue and it appears to be common for iOS platforms. I've tried the suggested solutions of restarting your phone, ensuring you have the latest iOS on my phone, ensuring the latest Fitbit app version is downloaded, latest firmware for the Fitbit device, ensuring my phone notification settings previews are on, ensuring Bluetooth System Sharing is on... basically everything. They still do not appear. WhatsApp is the app I use the most and, therefore, the one I wish to receive notification from the most.

Can you assist or advise? I have an iPhone 7, 128 GB, iOS 13.3.

Hi @Sharyla, it's great to see you again. @SunsetRunner, welcome on board. I'm sorry for the delayed response.

@Sharyla, you're welcome and I'm glad that the steps worked for you. In case you have time, let me invite you to visit our Health & Wellness board where you can meet people and share your experiences.

@SunsetRunner, thanks for the information provided, as well for investigating more about how the notifications work. Let me clarify that by default you'll receive text notifications from iMessage. That said, although we're aware that some members aren't able to receive notifications on their Fitbit devices after updating their phones to iOS 13, you'd still be able to set WhatsApp for App Notifications in the app. Since you've exhausted our troubleshooting steps, could you please take a screenshot of what appears in the App Notifications list? For instructions to attach a screenshot, check this post.

Keep me posted.
