My versa 2 counts way too many floors every day. I think it might be counting all the floors I take in an elevator. For instance, today it counted 16 floors. I likely walked 6 floors, and I took an elevator to a 10th floor office. How can I adjust it to count accurately?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Llipuma821. I am sorry for the delayed response.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that your Fitbit Versa 2 is counting too many floors. Thank you for your efforts to resolve this and for providing the additional details. Your device uses both an accelerometer and altimeter to track floors, and registers a floor when detecting continuous motion combined with an elevation gain of about 10 feet. Your device may give you credit for extra floors for a variety of reasons. Devices may track floors while doing everyday tasks such as opening doors, driving, or riding elevators or escalators, or from abrupt weather and atmospheric pressure changes. Exposure to excess moisture can also result in extra floors. For more information about the accuracy of the Fitbit devices, please see here.
You can remove the extra floors from your daily total by following the instructions in this help article: How do I delete steps and floors in the Fitbit app?
